Glen Garioch 36 Years Previous
ABV: 45.2% 70 cL
We proudly current our oldest bottling thus far. This single cask was distilled in 1988 at our most native distillery – Glen Garioch. This malt impressed us to delve into Aberdeen’s wealthy historical past, and with the assistance of Finn Thomson, we designed the label round one of the vital essential and oldest industries within the metropolis – granite.
The label options the form of Rubislaw Quarry, the place many of the granite within the metropolis got here from, on the background of a microscopic image of granite, showcasing the distinctive buildings and colors of the fabric.
The whisky itself was aged for 36 years in a single bourbon barrel, creating elegant and wealthy flavours in an older model of Glen Garioch, pre-dating the various modifications the distillery underwent within the 90s.
With every pour, this bottle brings collectively the lasting energy of granite and the timeless craft of whisky, celebrating Aberdeen’s enduring energy in each sip.
It was bottled with out chill-filtration or synthetic colouring.
