Claire chatted to Kirstin Petersen from Cornell College about how robots can work collectively to attain advanced behaviours.
Kirstin Petersen is an Affiliate Professor within the College of Electrical and Laptop Engineering at Cornell College. Her lab, the Collective Embodied Intelligence Lab, is concentrated on design and coordination of robotic collectives capable of obtain advanced behaviors past the attain of a person, and corresponding research on how social bugs achieve this in nature. Petersen did her postdoc on the Max Planck Institute for Clever Techniques and her PhD at Harvard College and the Wyss Institute for Biologically Impressed Engineering.
