June 6, 2025 — Orange County Wine Society (OCWS) is proud to announce its scholarship program donations for the 2025-2026 tutorial 12 months within the quantity of $49,507. The donations will assist to assist enology and viticulture, wine enterprise, and culinary arts applications in California. Since 1981, OCWS has donated over $946,000 in scholarships to eight (8) California establishments with wine-related instructional applications. Subsequent 12 months, OCWS will have a good time its 50th Anniversary and is ready to exceed the $1M mark in scholarship donations as a part of its fiftieth Anniversary celebration. “OCWS strives to assist the subsequent era of winemakers and grape growers with its long-standing scholarship program,” says present OCWS scholarship chair Dr. Damian Christian.
OCWS is a 501(c)(3) company whose mission is to assist wine training. Along with offering scholarship funds, OCWS has met its instructional mission by internet hosting the OC Honest Industrial and Residence Wine competitions for the final 49 years. OCWS volunteers run the Wine Courtyard through the OC Honest, which options award-winning California wines, wine seminars, and featured wineries for the general public to expertise. OCWS additionally gives instructional programming for its members to find out about varied features of wine tasting, wine analysis, industrial wine manufacturing, and residential winemaking. The group consists of over 1,000 wine fanatic members who volunteer their time to assist the group’s instructional mission all year long.
