Earlier this month, the Bourbon & Banter crew hit the highway for an additional whiskey-fueled journey—this time to Indianapolis. We’re talkin’ barrel picks, behind-the-scenes distillery entry, ATV-fueled path sippin’, and one late-night bottle share that wrapped round 3 a.m. (due to course it did).
We kicked issues off at West Fork Whiskey Co., the place they gave us the complete VIP therapy. From manufacturing excursions to blind barrel samples, the crew tasted their method to deciding on a beast of a personal barrel—128.6 proof and eight years of Indiana goodness coming quickly to the group.
Day two introduced the enjoyable right down to Arduous Fact Distilling Co. in Brown County. Assume: a sprawling 325-acre bourbon playground with cocktails, rickhouse excursions, and their legendary Get Misplaced ATV tour. (Spoiler: whiskey tastes even higher if you’re ingesting it within the woods.)
We wrapped up with cigars, pours, and laughs at Brent’s home. It was a kind of weekends that remind you why we constructed this group within the first place.
