Islands praised the world’s “47 miles of rolling sand dunes, a few of that are a whopping 500 toes excessive,” and “fir forests, mountaineering routes that weave round wooded lakesides, and year-round campgrounds.”
The Oregonian/OregonLive journey reporter Jamie Hale final visited Honeyman State Park in 2018, noting that the park, with its freshwater lakes, provided “a really totally different sort of expertise on the coast.”

Honeyman State Park has 355 tenting websites obtainable, plus 10 yurts. There are six group tenting areas. Tenting is on the market year-round.
