All the time chasing the proper grilled cheese sandwich? Evidently there are grilled cheese sandwich recipes all over the place you look. This asparagus and cheese mixture is a fairly nice one. The combination of mellow but spicy Romesco sauce with melted nutty Gruyère was scrumptious. Subsequent time I could skip the mozzarella and simply go all in with the Gruyère, and add one other spoonful of Romesco.
I used my favourite native sourdough for the bread and roasting is my favourite technique to prepare dinner asparagus so one other plus, though subsequent time I’ll add some garlic to the asparagus whereas roasting.
I didn’t love the mayo/butter combo for spreading on the bread, it was a bit of soggy. Subsequent time I’ll simply use my EVOO, which all the time offers me a scrumptious crusty toasty sandwich. General this sandwich was an enormous hit for panini night time at my desk.
