Since 2017, Georgia Organics has been partaking West Georgia households in studying about, rising, and buying native, wholesome meals. Not too long ago, Georgia Organics has deepened its roots within the space with new partnerships and actions as a part of its ongoing Farm to Early Care & Training programming.
Over the previous few months, Georgia Organics’ Neighborhood Collaborations staff partnered with native farmer Terri Parmer of Excessive Spirits Farm to work with college students and employees on the College of West Georgia Early Studying Middle and the Neighborhood Motion for Enchancment‘s (CAFI) Carrollton Head Begin. Collectively, they grew seasonal vegetable gardens with turnips, kale, collards, lettuce, spinach, radishes, dill, strawberries, marigolds, and extra.
