Lagg Palo Cortado End – Aberdeen Whisky Store Information

This single malt from Lagg Distillery was initially aged in Bourbon Barrels and completed for six months in Palo Cortado Sherry casks – a uncommon and extremely prized model of sherry, which casks impart a posh stability of nutty dryness, caramelised sweetness and oxidative depth.
NOSE: Peach and white grapes. Hints of vanilla, almonds and a contact of smoke.
PALATE: Wealthy mouth really feel, very oily with a lingering orange important oil. Citrus, with baking spices like ginger and cinnamon.
FINISH: Medium size end. Tons and plenty of orange and ginger. Delicate smoke takes over with a dry ashy end.
