The American Homebrewers Affiliation (AHA) Founding Board has named Roxanne Westendorf the 2025 AHA Recognition Award Winner. That is the AHA’s highest honor and represents acknowledgment for Roxanne’s previous and current contributions to the AHA and the passion of homebrewing.
Roxanne has been homebrewing since 1995 when she and her husband acquired a homebrew equipment for Christmas. They joined their native homebrew membership, the Bloatarian Brewing League, shortly after beginning, and the remaining is historical past. Roxanne enjoys particular brewing strategies, enjoyable elements, and experimenting with yeasts. She is Previous President of the Bloatarian Brewing League and sat on the previous AHA Governing Committee and Brewers Affiliation Board of Administrators for quite a few years. Westendorf is a retired growth engineer from Procter & Gamble, lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is a long-standing AHA member.
