A 17-year-old lady from Glad Valley died Friday afternoon after she fell 30 ft whereas mountain climbing at Falls Creek Falls close to Carson, Washington.
The Skamania County Sheriff’s Workplace stated in an announcement that they obtained a name round 1:20 p.m. concerning the teen’s fall and despatched a multi-agency search-and-rescue group to assist.
The rescue group included Skamania County Sheriff’s Workplace Search and Rescue, Klickitat County Sheriff’s Workplace Search and Rescue, the Hood River Crag Rats, Skamania County Hearth District 1 and Skamania County Hearth District 2.
{The teenager} — who has not been publicly recognized — was alive when the rescuers reached her and pulled her out of the creek, officers stated.
Emergency responders rushed her down the path to an ambulance that took her to a Life Flight helicopter, however she died from her accidents after she was flown to a Portland-area hospital, officers stated.
